Punkie Night Road Closures – 29th October 2026

Last year’s Punkie Night procession had to be held on the village hall playing field for reasons of safety but we are pleased to say that this year we will be reverting to the traditional route round the village. However, this has meant obtaining a Road Closure Order and all roads into and out of the village will be closed for short periods between 1800 and 1945 on the night of the procession other than for the emergency services. Further details of the closures can be provided if required. We hope that you will be understanding of any inconvenience which may be caused in order to preserve this ancient custom.
